River Deck Cafe

Busy,Busy, busy luckily we had a reservation and were seated immediately. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating and let us know as we placed our orders that food service was slightly delayed due to the large number of patrons.There were several large family groups with children. My son ordered the Waygu beef burger and I had Fish (murrawong) and chips. I really enjoyed the fish, the batter was just right and the fish moist and flaky and tasty. The chips were very pedestrian (regular everyday shoe strings) I was expecting something a little more originality, maybe wedges or thick cut with some sort of original/signature seasoning? My son must have enjoyed his burger as it was gone in an instant even our server was surprised that he had finished it so quickly. All in all very pleasant experience. The outlook is lovely, it is easy to get to, there was plenty of parking even though the park itself was very busy with families enjoying the amenities.Next time I am hoping it will be warm enough to sit out on the deck after all that is one of the features of the restaurant. I would strongly recommend booking.

We held our wedding reception at River Deck during Autumn 2017. We cannot speak highly enough of this venue and how spectacular they were on our special day. No request was too hard, especially the number of guests we wanted for the size of the venue. Alex and his team were incredibly accommodating. The food was amazing and we had so many guests comment on the high quality of the service provided by the staff on the night. Our function coordinator, Brooke Kilo, met with us on multiple occasions before the night to ensure that all the finer details were covered and everything would run smoothly for us. We were also very lucky to get a mild evening, and guests freely moved around the restaurant, deck, dance floor and outside photo booth all night. We both highly recommend this venue for weddings and functions and are so glad we chose it for our day - Alison and David

On the banks of the Murray, Riverview is a great place to sit back and relax over a leisurely breakfast...outside in the sun or on the deck..as the mighty Murray flows by.Plenty of reasonably priced options, made more enjoyable by the excellent and friendly service (Chantelle) which prompted to return again..service as good as we have experienced anywhere in the world!

Found this off TripAdvisor whilst passing through Albury/Wodonga. If your looking for a big brekky, go the full deck and you won't be disappointed! Great coffee too and wonderful staff. Glad we took the time for a stopover here, and we will come back.

A delicious cafe that has excellent and consistent fare. Service is great, and the location cannot be rivalled, both for locals and visitors- with views overlooking the Murray river. Great menu, and well worth the visit
