This is a wonderful little family run restaurant located downtown Stoney Creek. I have ordered from them a few times and it is always hot and delicious. We ordered a large party size order this afternoon for pick up. Staff is friendly and make your business feel appreciated. Your order is verified before being placed and is always correct. Every order packaged in solid containers filled to the max, with loads of assorted sauces, napkins, utensils, cookies, menu. Everything is quality, cooked properly and absolutely delicious. Prices are VERY reasonable. You also get 10% off for pick up. Parking easy to find out front, or there is a rear lot. No issues with the food being ready and hot even on New Years eve as they are open for lunch. This place is a winner
Ordered family dinner for 4 for pickup on my way home from work. Ordering process was very simple. Unfortunately I was delayed - they had called me twice to find out if something had gone wrong (I had my phone off). When I finally got there they apologized if the food was not as hot as it should be - even though it was my fault. They also suggested calling to change the time, so that the food would be perfect. Level of service that went beyond my expectations. Got the food home and it was DELICIOUS. Best chicken balls in a very long time, not greasy, not over salty.
Stopped here after a busy morning for a comforting nutrious lunch. This restaurant is clean and has friendly service by owner's wife. The chef is her hubby. Great family atmosphere. We had their lunch special with spring roll and soup. Hubby had wonton and I had hot and sour soup. Hubby ordered beef brisket and broccoli and I ordered the beef dish with rice noddles and chop suey. (Beef ho-fen) my favourite special. We hage had dinner here and other selections. All the food is yummy and always huge portions.
I must say that the food went downhill with new owners. I had some beef dish. Beef was very mushy in texture and flavour was not great. I wouldn't eat there again without some improvement. One nice improvement is the look of the outside and inside of restaurant.
