I like this restaurant. First - The seafood is first class. Amazing tuna belly, soft as butter seared salmon... Genuinely up there with the best. Second - Both traditional and innovative menu items (you must try the deep fried sushi rice, which is featured in different dishes on the lunch and dinner menu). Finally - Every time I come with a friend the chef sends a complimentary extra dish to our table, like sashimi with a miso sauce or perfectly grilled fish. It's nice feeling like our repeat business is valued.Highly recommended.

3 of us went here for dinner on a wet Sydney evening. I had incorrectly booked this place but decided to go ahead - SO Glad we did. The food was excellent. Young chef doing great things here. We had tuna belly carpaccio to start - yum. Tofu, fried chicken and an amazing sashimi platter that was on a really cool looking ice plate. The price is very reasonable for very fresh fish & I would highly recommend. I think this place will take off before too long & you won't be able to get in. We will definitely be back.

Stumbled on this place on Cleveland street looking for a quiet family dinner. Truly exceptional Japanese food. The dishes were so tasty, a unique twist given to traditional Japanese dishes. Friendly staff and food is cooked fresh. Highly recommend this little find if you are next in Surry Hills. We all thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

really is a local Japanese restaurant where the owner is the chef. Trained at Sake and now 'stepping out on his own' this restaurant certainly has the local charm. AMAZING food, great quality and quantity. Incredible value!

Agree - a real gem. Food is fabulous. Very innovative tasty and excellent value for money. Delightful friendly staff. Sake selection also very good.
