Roemerhof - Tisch reservieren

The Römerhof is located in the old part of Arbon town and the restaurant is simply but nicely decorated with clean, white rooms. The menu offers a selection of dishes including food reflecting the chef’s Mauritius heritage. All of the dishes were exquisitely presented; it was almost a shame to eat them. The food was also of very good quality. The reason I didn’t award five stars is that the prices are quite high and somehow all of us felt that despite the quality of the food, it was too much to spend for a dinner. This is not to fault the service nor the cook – both were very friendly – but the total dining experience fell somewhat short of our expectations, considering the prices.

I am from Portugal and in a business trip my work colleagues recommended this restaurant! Good place not just for eat but to really enjoy good food. All the staff are very nice and they are prepared for cases like mine : gluten free. The chef Gerald Bergue is very gently and knows how to welcome the customers. A nice place to come back! Keep the good work and quality.

Simple, quiet restaurant layout with old world charm. Food was outstanding and delivered with excellent service. Recommend the beef tartar as a starter.

Beste Curry je in schönem Ambiente. Sehr professionelle Gastgeber. Ich fühlte mich perfekt zum Abendessen selbst auf meinem eigenen!

Wir haben selten solche wunderbaren Aromen und Texturen erlebt. Bravo Gerard und Dominique. Wir kommen wieder.
