A group of us were here on the evening of the 14th March and everyone (there were seven of us) had an exceptional dining experience in this lovely lilttle restaurant. That such magnificent food could be prepared by the chef from such a small kitchen (in full view of customers!) is truly unbelievable.As you would expect with such a small space to work in, the menu is limited to around three choices of starter, main course and desert. However, given the standard of each dish presented to us, this is no shortcoming. Given the size of our group, we tasted every dish on the menu; each one matching the other for sheer quality. The colourful presentation, the complex flavours and the fineness of the cooking of both fish and meat dishes was, quite simply, faultless.To compliment the cooking, the wine list, whilst short, again represented a good range of wines, sensibly priced that were superb. The owner/somelier/waitress and her partner/chef made up two of the three staff on duty and could not have worked harder to make the night such a wonderful experience.We have been in the area many times before and on this occasion, during our few days we had eaten out quite a bit. On the way home after our night out in Rond de Carotte, everyone was in agreement that our 'last supper' was the finest of the trip and will definitely add this to our list of 'favourite places to dine' on future visits to the area.
