Rooftop 42

Rooftop 42 is THE trendy bar, nightlife location in Geneva...that would be enough to bet on average and very expensive food typical of such places...well we were positively surprised...not so much on the price (well it's Geneva after all...) though not a total rip-off by local standards..but rather by the food quality and really elegant presentation (i was told the cook is also a painter...i can confirm the visual impact is worth the try!). And the waiters (all males and in a debatable outfit)..The rest is what you would expect from a glamourous trendy place, though in mid summer it felt the trendiest and most glamourous guests are probably in St. Tropez or Porto Cervo right now...

Un très agréable moment à deux après une journée de travail ou devant une vue sublime et dégagée sur le lac Léman, la grande roue, le jet d'eau... on a pu déguster un délicieux cocktail pour monsieur et un the maison pour moi tout cela dans une super ambiance et À un prix très correct !!! Nous le recommandons pour sa vue, sa carte variée, ses prix abordables, cocktails servis avec olives et chips maison donc un bel apéritif !

For lunch, Very good service, nice menu with restricted choices. The terrasse is beautiful with an amazing view of Geneva. The food was OK, not the best Îve had but not bad.For drinks, i absolutely love this place! It's pricey but it's worth it :)

It has a great view, on the top of a building. Cocktails are really good with chill out music as background.
