Rosenbaum Burton Cafe

This place is an up and coming gem! My first visit to this dining and live music establishment was on 12/30/16 with a group of seven family members, three of whom lived five minutes away and suggested we go there. My meal started with an appetizer of chips and salsa--homemade green chili salsa--that was some of the best salsa I have ever eaten. The draft beer was cold, the wait service were friendly and attentive, and our table ordered the margherita and meat lovers pizza. For myself, I had the chili con carne appetizer which was generously served in a pretty sizable bowl. It was so delicious I decided to order another bowl and make that my meal! Finally, during our meal we got to listen to an unknown yet talented, live country music trio who played some great cover songs, such as music from George Strait, Merle Haggard and others. What a great place--I will definitely return soon and I would hands-down recommend it to anyone!!

What a gem! Situated in the historic part of town, this new place became a mecca for musicians traveling the Texas country roads in between Houston, Dallas, Austin and San Antonio and Texas country roads traveling fans, and those of us from the big cities and small who seek that personal touch, that unique connection that makes us feel special. This is one of those places where no one is a stranger, everyone is welcomed and accepted just the way they are. Mark your traveling map for the next weekend getaway. You'll love it!

This weary, city girl was relieved for the salve of the countryside and friendly atmosphere of Burton, and especially the high spirits of the Burton Roadhouse. The building is awesome unique in that it's 3 old buildings joined together made into one which makes for a fun atmosphere. The wait staff are incredibly friendly and the food is fresh (homemade pizza! and the music is of highest quality. This is a fun meeting place. Highly recommended!

Perfect stop between Austin and Houston. The pizza is the way to go. The crust is half wheat, half white and was crisp and super tasty. We had the pepperoni with generous amounts of quality cheese. There's a good selection of tap bottle beer, plus wine and a full bar. I had a great **** Mary to start. The service was friendly and fast as well.

Excellent!!! Meatballs pizzas are fab. They have a nice white wine selection too!
