Rota 66 - Tisch reservieren

We were in a rush and the restaurant we wanted to hit was closed. So we decided to give Rota 66 a try. As I looked at the menu I said to myself... why am I looking at a Tex-Mex menu in Rio? The burgers and ribs looked good on the menu so I played it safe and went for a burguer. Dissapointed. My burguer was as good as those $2 burguers they hand out at picnics. The meat was over-cooked, they forgot the toppings I requested and the bread wasnt very good. The fries were ok! The rest of my table had a mix of tacos and burgers and everyone had a similar experience. I wouln't say Rota 66 is bad, but its not hard to do better.

This place does a good job of what it is trying to mimic. Clearly the food is not going to be the bet Tex-mex as Mexican food is almost non existent in Brazil. They segue the gap and are a nice relief from Brazilian cuisine when an American is looking for Americans comfort food. Stick to the burritos/quesadillas and avoid the burgers as they begin to become more subpar (just like a Mexican place in the USA serving burgers). Also do not expect the same sized giant American burritos, they are about half of the size.

Große Vielfalt von Getränken und alles sehr gut. Ich mag auch das Essen, ich habe die Tacos und die Quesadillas ausprobiert, ich hatte auch zu Mittag gegessen und das Mittagsmenü abgeholt. Ich empfehle.

big variety of drinks and all muito bons. também gosto da comida, já experimentei os tacos e as quesadillas, também já almocei e peguei o menu do almoço. recomend.

Loved this place huge menu we had authentic Brazilian food. Was not on the list ask for it. Delicious and huge portions,
