As it was this November when we visited, there was very little traffic and we were able to take in the views hence coming across this beautiful restaurant. It is layed back off the main road and is accessed by a narrow road. We were there for lunch and as it happened the owner was there with the very pleasant staff who couldn't do enough for us. Indeed as we left the owner insisted we had a tour of this really big establishment which obviously hosts very big gatherings during the main season. They had just started the winter menu and we were not disappointed. I had a focaccia with veg in a spicy tomato salsa, our family member had focaccia with sliced peppers and onions with almond sauce. Of course, hubby had to be different and had rabbit and potatoes with veg in a spicy tomato sauce. A different type of rabbit stew! see pics to see the excellent presentation of all the meals). We also had some Ali oli and bread. The homemade bread was so good that we had to buy a loaf before we left. Altogether thoroughly recommended. Make sure you look out for this when going to the nearby beach.
This place has clearly changed management and the current menu does not reflect what had made it so successful in the previous years. I have been there a few nights ago and was very disappointed. The environment is still very nice, also good music and the service is Ok. However on the whole the menu is too pretentious and overpriced. I am not sure I will go back again.
We came along this charming restaurant and decided to give it a go. The waitress was friendly and the fish real good, but when we asked for the bill we had to pay double price because they ‘forgot’ to change the price on the menu. They refused to correct the bill and we left feeling mislead. The atmosphere and food were ok, but the price management was far from ok.
I got stuck in Cala Comte on Thursday eve, as it’s very difficult to book a taxi after the sunset. We found ourself in this lovely restaurant and the staff working there helped us. Meanwhile I had a glass of wine and nibbles. Delicious!! Thank you guys
