Had this place for my graduation celebration for 2. Such a lovely environment to be around, brings the Japanese culture while you dine.. Although its not a full Japanese Restaurant but if you're in for food this is the place! My partner and I sat in for the Deluxe Menu Buffet which was on a Saturday and costed 52.80 for 1.5hr session 1 hour of ordering and the extra 30mins to finish the food- pricey, but as we were here to celebrate.The staff were happy and polite and gave us the menu for the Deluxe Menu and we were offered to select the dishes. The food came nicely plated. We were a little confused if we were to start the Korean bbq or the staff. Eventually another staff member came around and noticed us not eating yet and turned it on. At this point we ordered a huge menu and ill pick the favourites; Wagyu Rib Fingers, Wagyu Thin Skirt, Sashimi (don't forget to put it on the grill of you like grilled! we didn't do that till the end when remembering), Kingfish sashimi, Scallops, Wagyu Rib Meat. Well worth if you have an aggressive stomach, very tasty and definitely would come back another time for the Deluxe Menu
The establishment offers $55 Wakyu buffet on table service. Guests are required to finish the meal in a limited time. It took my family exactly 30 mins until we had our first order which was BBQ meat. Everytime we place an order they bring out less quantity repeatedly. I found out other quests had same experinces. One of the most frustrating dining experince ever.
The staff at Sakae were absolutely wonderful - so friendly, helpful and attentive without being too much. The restaurant has a traditional Japanese style and the booths are somewhat private which is nice. The food was great. We have the standard buffet, which had great variety and was tasty. I good choice and I would definitely go back again!
The restaurant has a very comprehensive menu offering a variety of set meals which in all offers the diner a very good choice for his dinner. We had five in our group which offered a good spread of our favorite meats, et cetera. The pricing is very reasonable, the restuarant spacious and the service very good.
