Samurai Japanese

Came here for dinner with a friend. I liked the atmosphere, and the service was pretty good. We did come during the week around 6/7 pm so it wasn't as busy as I thought it.The food was a bit more expensive than I thought compared to other sushi places I have been to in Carlsbad or Oceanside but was fresh when we went.

Samurai has been a staple in the community for many years. The warm Atmosphere always makes me feel at home. I love sitting at the bar and watching sports with Derek who always serves the best drinks and has awesome jokes. Their sushi bar is also amazing! Nacho and Antonio are the best. I love Samurai .

Super expensive- and table cooking was less entertaining than in previous visits. Vegetarian options: Just ask- and they will prepare vegetarian options in the kitchen during table cooking for the rest of your party.
