Our original intention was to dine at the actual San Pedro Market, however the long ass line and haphazard dining situation led us to here and if you could do without the drunken crowd and the ho hum, I suggest making your way here too plenty of outdoor seating with a much chiller vibe. I 'm not trying to do too much on a Sunday so the San Pedro Fish Market Grille was much more my family 's speed. The workers were extremely friendly and helpful. For my family of 5, we ordered the following: the Original Shrimp Tray $39.99 for 4 people): grilled shrimp veggie mix comes with bread Captain 's Tray $66.50 for 4): fried shrimp, calamari, and whitefish served with French fries and house made coleslawWell, for all the trouble we went through to try the world famous shrimp tray, it was a very meh tray of smol seasoned shrimp tossed with bell peppers and potatoes. Ther shrimp were a little puny and far and few in between the veggies. The Captain 's tray was better only because you know, fried seafood. That and you can always dunk it in sauce for added flavor. There was nothing particularly special about either tray except they were very good values for the amount of food you get. And I guess it can be fun eating with your hands? Who knows? This satiated my father 's curiosity about the San Pedro Fish Market so that was good enough for me.
