Very nice hike from Brand past a waterfall mostly in the forest. The hut is something special. It's not folk music, it's blues. First quality homemade bread for breakfast. I ate a lentil dal with potatoes and kimchi. Instead of the usual dishes something completely different. Also delicious without meat. The kimchi was 1a! The sleeping places are super clean and comfortable, just quite narrow. What I missed, especially after a long, sweaty climb, was the shower. They are neither hot nor cold. So people wash themselves in cold water at the sink, and cold here means really cold, really cold. The next day via the Zimbajoch to the Hueter Hut. The ascent to the yoke was still snow-covered for the last 200 m and was anything but a walk. Anyone who has never done this should definitely leave it alone! I can warmly recommend the hut and the nice tenants. I will definitely be happy to come back!
Brilliant hut totally sympathetic Vorarlberg landlords not exploited for tourism beer is a little more expensive but when you consider that everything has to be flown up or carried... You will ultimately be rewarded in a down to earth hut with a brilliant panorama and all around.
Sehr schöne Hütte. Ambitioniertes und freundliches Personal. Aber Preis-Leistung für die Brettljause sind bei allem Respekt für die exponierte Lage so nicht akzeptabel. 20€ für diese Platte mit zwei Scheiben Brot.
