We were recommended this restaurant by the owners of the camping where we were staying (Camping La Salendrinque see my review, quite nice camping , and we were assured by them that this was one of the few restaurants that cooked fresh and not frozen ingredients etc... This part, I can assure you, that all of the ingredients were fresh and not frozen premade stuff that you find all too often in tourist locations. We ate outside on the terrace (ie. street which did not bother us at all, and was in fact quite charming. The restaurant and menu itself was quite crunchy , as in a lot of vegetables, grains, organic and bio fare, and other hippie stuff that I am not quite accustomed to eating (and voluntarily make fun of when given the chance: . But why not change the scenery sometimes, right? The salad was a big plate of a variety of different salads, all of which were pretty tasty, especially a type of beetroot hummus which was delicious. The main courses were also cooked properly with care, I had a fish with a pesto and it was fine, but the salad was more memorable. All in all, I would recommend this restaurant to other people, however I must give a couple of warnings before hand... 1 The menu is very small! They only have 2 starters and 2 main courses to choose from. On my night it was the salad or a charcuterie plate, and then the fish or stuffed vegetables. So although this does ultimately make choosing your dish easier, if you don 't care for those 2 dishes, you are S.O.L. 2 Expect to wait a LONG time for service. When we went, the restaurant was pretty much full, with only one server, who was also responsible for making the salads (which had like 15 components on it, so... Also, the owner/chef is alone in the kitchen, and she prepares one table at a time. So in the end, your food is prepared fresh and with love, but you will wait for it. We did not mind so much in the beginning, but by the end of the meal it was really dragging...
