Schloss Filseck

This was the first night of two in Salamanca in which we were the only diners in the restaurant. We don't know if we were dining at an unusual hour (21:30) or perhaps this is just a really slow time in the city. But it meant that we didn't get the sense of the general vibe of the restaurant on a busy night. We both ordered from the fixed price menu. Our first course was chopped tomatoes with beetroot cubes and pieces of sardine. The tomatoes were rather flavorless. And I thought the dish would have benefited from something acid and some fresh herbs. Our second dish was a seafood risotto. It was really quite rich and flavorful. I think I may prefer my risotto not quite so al dente. But the rice was not crunchy so that was a good thing. Our main course were beef medallions with mushroom cream sauce. There were also little strings of zucchini and, I think, parsnips. This was a successful and tasty dish. For dessert I had a very well prepared flan with the usual caramel sauce and some raspberry couli. My husband had the cheesecake with which he was pleased. We shared a bottle of red wine as well as a bottle of water with gas.

Dieses Restaurant war wirklich eine schlechte Wahl. Schlechter Service sehr arrogantes Personal, schlechtes Essen fragte ich einen Fleischstrudel, der kalt und ohne Strudel kam und auch ohne jede Art von Reis oder Gemüse oder Pommes... nur ein kaltes Fleisch. Sogar sehr wenige Möglichkeiten zum Trinken, zum Beispiel, sie hatten keine Art Saft ohne Funkeln. Ich möchte auch darauf hinweisen, dass sie mich um eine 100€ Reservierungsgebühr gebeten haben wir sind 6 Erwachsene 2kids, weil sie nur Menü und es war 1. Januar. Ich bezahlte und als wir ankamen, waren wir die einzigen im Restaurant, die ich herausgefunden habe, warum später... und es gab kein Menü. Ich bezahlte eine regelmäßige Reservierung.... Sehr schlechte Erfahrung. Nicht empfohlen

The most delicious meal, except desserts. The staff a little arrogant; nothing else to sit down, asking if we could ask for everything in the middle to share, the answer of one of the waitress was: you have to ask for a minimum of a dish per person, when the money was not the problem, because in the end we paid € 140 for dinner four people. Being a small place, nothing that a table screams, it is impossible to spend a pleasant night.

I'm sorry for the staff. Good food but a few dishes. Just for the deal, it's not coming back even if the food was 10.
