Schlossbrauhaus Schwangau

We were exhausted after a day of hiking and were looking for a quick and satisfying dinner. I'm so happy we ended up here. Parking was easy, service was friendly and the food was good. They had the best Käsespätzle that I had during our...whole trip (it is my favorite and I tried it whenever I saw it on the menu). The ambiance is lacking if you're looking for something small and cute because it's filled with massive tour groups, but if you're just there for a beer and good food you'll be happy!

Since we were staying in Schwangau, we looked for restaurants and found this one. Turns out the food was wonderful, and we loved the outdoor dining area. Had a pork shank that was probably the best I’ve ever had and the price was more than...reasonable. We liked it so much we went back there 2 nights later. Although it was pouring rain, they had part of the outside seating under covers, so we sat outside again. The food was still outstanding.

Ate here in July 2019, while staying in Schwangau. We were a family of 5, each of us enjoyed something different, and all of the food was delicious. There was a local German band performing as well, which added to the ambiance of the evening....Though it was very busy, our service was good and our food was hot. The only thing missing were a few more beers that evening!

Lovely atmosphere and lots of space. The service was really good and the house brewed beer was amazing. Proper German cuisine they have on the menu and food was tasty. Definitely recommended for a good night out.

I enjoyed my time. Nice dark . I loved the buffet and the fact that it was a cold period in May after a tour of Mickey mouse castle in Neschwinstine. Wonderful place to go over and over again.
