Wir haben hier ein köstliches leichtes Mittagessen genossen. Wir wählten das Menü des Tages, der, bringen Freitag war Fisch. Der Starter war entweder Suppe oder Salat. Ich nahm die hausgemachte Suppe. Der Preis (25 Francs) beinhaltete ein Glas Mineralwasser und einen Express-Kaffee. In Anbetracht des warmen und freundlichen Service und der herrlichen Aussicht auf den Thunsee war es ein angenehmes Mittagserlebnis!
We were staying at the hotel so chose to have our evening meal there. A wise choice. The service was excellent, attentive but not too much. We each had a salad as starter. They were very good but quite substantial. So if you are each ordering a large main course consider splitting the salad. The tables along the windows have a terrific view of the lake and mountains.
Our meal was set as a special offer in combination with accommodation at the Hotel and it was outstanding. Our only regret was that the four course meal was just a little too much for us in the heat of summer it was such a shame to leave anything on the plate!
Not only did we have a delicious dinner here, with splendid wines, but the staff were charming and delightful as well. Thoroughly recommended.
