Went to Jade Verde for dinner, after reading previous reviews was looking forward to it. On arrival waiter gave 2 menus but there was 3 of us. On taking our food order, sweet sour chicken, crispy beef that comes with no sauce, cucumber sushi, salmon sushi 2 fried rice. Sauces come in separate dishes, sweet sour, chilli, soy lemon. Drinks order there was no cava no sprite. After 20 mins the sweet sour chicken arrived. Then another 10 mins for the fried rice. 15 mins later a plate of crispy beef. Still no sushi. Eventually the sushi arrived but it was wrong, fish sticks instead of salmon. This had to be returned. Would be better if the whole order to come together. Wouldn’t say the service is great either. I can understand why at the end of the meal you are given a free ice lolly! Wouldn’t return.
Great Chinese food in tranquil setting. The food was delicious and the portions very generous. In addition to the traditional printed menu they also had a tablet menu with photos so you could see exactly what you were ordering. Staff were excellent, friendly and attentive. We went there a couple of times during our holiday and recommended it to a number of people in the resort. Will definitely go back next year!
Such a lovely restaurant! The food was delicious and very reasonably priced considering the portion sizes. The staff were very nice and provided a “take away” service for left over food (there was lots considering how big the portions are! . I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting and would highly recommend the Chinese noodles with prawns or the chicken with lemon.
If you like Chinese food AVOID THIS PLACE. Food is not fresh or cooked to order, lt is all reheated/microwave/ frozen tastless and over priced. The staff were miserable and showed no real interest in serving. Our mains came out without our rice dishes, which left food going cold. The place lacks atmosphere and fails to deliver on all fronts. Best avoided.
