Sherry's Texan Seafood

I had heard of the legend, the chicken fried steak to end all chicken fried steaks. And I heard that it was at Sherry's Texan Seafood. I was not misled. Like any chicken fried steak connoisseur, I asked for the cream gravy to be on the side because otherwise it's a slight against the gods of chicken fried steak. That statement may offend some people but in order to truly enjoy a crispy fried humongous chunk of beef, you really need to have the gravy in a separate container, this is a rule I adhere to and will continue to observe until the day I die. They hooked it up. Cream gravy on the side and the steak fried to perfection. This is probably the best chicken fried steak I've had in a long time. And I'm always looking for new challengers to the throne. At this moment, I don't see any challengers to dethrone Sherry's. Even the sides were fantastic. This restaurant is out of the way for me but I will definitely be coming back. It's that good.

I deliver to this place several times on our san antonio route. After I was undercover, I decided that this is a place to crash? I have convinced one of my employees here that we should eat lunch on this route stop, and what is this place is a real south? texas to house restaurant and it looks like that too. I ordered the kernel and oyster basket to try which product I deliver here and boom? best fried oysters ever (yes). the batteries are very authentic and tasty completely different profile on garnel and the huge oysters. can't wait to come back to a weekend or lunch to try others on the menu! Do you not hear any negative reviews of this ortes rocks? and my only complaining is that there is no big bad neon sign for it? in south san antonio. this native born in sa tx cheap!

Me and my sister were greeted upon entry. Our server was very cheerful and attentive. I love the new decor. I ordered the chicken fried steak, extra crispy. The wait time for our food was very reasonable and every morsel was delicious! We will definitely be back!! Thank you for a great dining experience!!!

We found this place wrong and it was not disappointed. Chicken fried steak was perfectly cooked. Onion rings were perfect and the tea was fresh. Our waitress was the sweetest lady. We'll be back. Next time we will try the seafood and the Mexican food.
