Simplonblick - Tisch reservieren

We (2 adults, 3 boys 15, 13, 7) were a bit disappointed with the campsite but may also have been spoilt by our last one (Jungfrau). There are mostly permanent holiday homes which are nicely landscaped. Unfortunately the Vacansoleil mobile homes are in a pretty barren area with little green around. Like they’ve been plonked down in rows In a field. They are also not very well equipped. Positives were the pool, which although small had a slide and was fine, and the staff who were friendly and accommodating. Not much of a shop to speak of although there are plenty of supermarkets nearby. Nice little play area with table tennis tables, chess board etc. Missed a dedicated football pitch. The restaurant was pretty basic. It’s a good base camp for lots of great activities within a 30-60 min range but not very pleasant just to hang out at.

Dieser Ort entwickelt sich. Sie sehen immer noch Anzeichen von alten müden Camping Zeug, aber es gibt viel zu arbeiten, um neue Dinge und Gebäude. Der Besitzer und das Personal, wo sehr freundlich. Ich sehe die Zukunft dieses Campingplatzes sehr positiv. Das eine, was dieser Campingplatz schnell braucht, ist Bäume und viele von ihnen, weil er jetzt ein offenes Feld und der Wind stark, unerbittlich und nie enden auch mit gutem Wetter. Oder eine Windwand mit Sträuchern.

Schönes freundliches Personal, ruhiger Ort, dient sowohl dem Campingplatz auf der einen Seite als auch den Reisenden auf der anderen Seite. Salatbuffet sieht toll aus. Softdrinks etwas teuer.

A very nice and clean campsite. Ideal starting point for some really nice hikes. Friendly staff, swimming pool is clean. Enough space for tents and caravans.

The view is incredible. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is also very good.
