Singing Kettle - Tisch reservieren

Friendly tea-shop with a good menu. You need to be able to climb two flights of steep stairs to get to the toilets but if you are cycling the Way of the Roses, that should be ok! Try the fruitcake with Wensleydale cheese! Water bottles...filled up very willingly, even when they are camelbacks! Don't eat too much here if you are heading up *that* hill afterwards.

We arrived soaking wet after a walk that was rainy. Our welcome was sympathetic and friendly. Typical menu and standard furnishings. Even though we didn't have them, the cakes looked great. Soup and pannini both excellent. Tea, strong and a big pot. Just what we...needed.

the singing kettle is a very welcoming little caffe with nurturing and personable employees who simply couldn't do enough to please. they did and the food was great! we will return.
