This is what Switzerland needed: an organic gourmet beef burger served on top of a mountain. In the early days I liked to get to the SIT huette and get my fix of McTwist burger and the famous fries. Mirko and his team have now upped...their game. The Big A(rosa) burger is completely sourced from local ingredients (the cow never left Arosa, the bread is from the local baker etc etc) and although my expectations were sky high, they were definitely met! It was a great experience and can recommend every visitor of Arosa to drop by and get one.
Me and 3 generations of my entire family love the Sit (ok, it might be that my dad is not to crazy about the music . I respect the fact that is was the first place on the slopes of Arosa that dared to be different...a great deal. Straightforward and uncomplicated food and beverage offerings at fair prices, complimented by cool design elements... Last but not least, they do not rest on their laurels, each year we are looking forward to see what is new and different. Keep it up!
This place is amazing! Ambiance is friendly and relaxed. Food is more than amazing. Service is perfect and the owner is almost always around and very engaged with guests. Prices are very affordable. The place inside is relatively small though so make sure to arrive...early before lunch to grab a table....unless of course the famous sun in Arosa is out so that you can relax on the terrace! Bravo to Mirco and his crew...you guys are fantastic!
Nice place with a chic menu. It is certainly different from Tschuggen and Carmenna and I was so happy to see Chai Latte and other beautiful things on the menu. Unfortunately, it has proved quite poor. I had a vegi sandwich for lunch. That was pretty sweet. Very disappointing because you think it is so different and especially.
