I have been with sofra for over 2 years and we usually eat here once or twice in the month. eating was very good and personal friendly, which led us to recommend this place to friends and colleagues. Unfortunately, here in the course of the years a steady and very visible decline of service levels and general comfort has been shown. they used to offer free brote and dips cut for cost reasons. understandable. this has been replaced by a tortilla like pack with some spicy and crumble, apparently, as well as stopped! the prices were raised a couple of months ago, but I was very disappointed to see that the servier sizes throughout...read more
it was long to eat in this restaurant. on the 30th juni we finally went along. we ordered from the set menu that offers a main course and baklawa desert for £7.95 from 12-4 Monday to Sunday. we enjoyed the meal very much. the food was delicious and the baklawa was moist and buttery. all four of us were impressed. we were the only ones to eat there, which seems so scandalous.
This is the third time we have come to this restaurant and it is consistently excellent. The decor and atmosphere is very good. The food is great value for money and the girls that serve us are smiley and friendly.
