I went to Solano's in La Quinta for lunch today and I was pleasantly surprised. I got the chef's fish tacos which were fresh and flavorful. I ran into the chef/owner while I was there and he told me about his focus on organic and locally grown ingredients. You could see by the way he talks he really has a passion for food and the way he describes his dinner menu I will definitely be coming back to check it out.
We had a twenty person group for dinner on the patio. The food was excellent and the service outstanding. Fransisco handled our group with a team of waitresses and waiters that truly were exceptional and everyone had a great time.
