Solid Grill Bar Restaurant

Sat down on a Tueaday night around 10pm, staff just ignored my wife and me. I'm not exaggerating. They literally ignored us for 40 minutes. Didn't even take a drink order. We ended up just walking out. If the place was packed, I would have understood. It was not packed, the majority of people weren't even eating, and everyone had drinks but us. I've never been ignored at a restaurant before, I guess they didn't want our money. My wife was upset. I explained that maybe they were understaffed, and we watched for a bit. They had three waitresses. We ended up eating street dogs from a vendor up the road and walking around downtown Boise.

The food is delicious and worth the price for what you will be getting (portion-wise). For food, I highly recommend the chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, and nacho platter! For cocktails, my go-to is always their lavender lemon drop. Staff is very sweet and informs us if our orders will take a little time based on the kitchen's process with other orders.

Solid is accurate. I came in after 9 on a Wednesday and ordered the risotto bites to start and then the salmon blackened and was super impressed. bartender was super friendly and tentative.

The defibrillator burger is my absolute favorite! Love this place, and love that they’re open late.
