Sophienkeller Im Taschenbergpalais

The moment I entered the restaurant I was amazed by the decoration. There are plenty of medieval decoration in the restaurant. (Bomb style candle, table with instrument of torture, swords…and even carousel) Food on average and I’m happy with it. However, I do feel racist dining in there. I cannot speak German, but have been living in Europe for couple of years, and also been to German so many times, so ain’t fragile. I can feel the waiter is so much happier when they talk to other ppl, and how impatient when he is with us (even when we are only try to order food)

Dieses Restaurant war bei weitem das Beste unter allen anderen Restaurants, in denen ich während meines 2-wöchigen Urlaubs in Nürnberg, Dresden, Prag Wien Abendessen hatte. Es ist sehr traditionell, hat erstaunliche Atmosphäre, sehr freundliches Personal, leckeres Essen, alles ist mehr als perfekt. Sollten Sie nicht verpassen, wenn Sie Dresden besuchen.

Very nice place. Gorgeous, medieval style atmosphere, nice and finny personnel, and proper traditional German food and drinks. Absolutely recommended if you aŕe in Dresden. The service was a bit slow, but the place was quite crowded, and it's recommended to reserve a table in advance.

The atmosphere is very nice but the service is under the expectations for such known restaurant. The waiter didn't show respect and was not friendly at all. If we were not invited to the restaurant, I would leave the restaurant directly..

tolle Lage, schöner Service und erstaunliche Einrichtung, die eine authentische Atmosphäre gibt. Essen war gut, aber ich würde erwarten ausgezeichnet für den Preis
