A family favourite since it opened a few years ago Being only 400 metres down the road means you get a bit of exercise walking home after eating ! Aaron and the other kitchen staff produce reliable , tasty and HOT food Menu is actually quite extensive when you take in to account the five or six 'specials ' normally available Have never had a bad meal here The Beef Cheeks is a firm fave of my mum , as are the always 'steaming' veggiesFloor staff can be a bit hit and miss .. but hey , it's NOT a five star restaurant Always full on a Friday , and weekend nights , it's great to visit a friendly , value for money , local
I have eaten many times at this little cafe. Every time I have received good food and a good size portion. The service is friendly and efficient and suitable for a cafe.They accommodate larger groups through to couples easily. A very popular cafe with a steady flow of traffic any night it is open.The space can be nosy and echo which is really the only downsize of going with a group or eating there when to many people are there as it can be hard to hear each other in a conversation . Still the food does make up for this.Worth a visit.
My wife and I decided to visit here for our anniversary last night.We took a bottle of red and ordered theChicken Alla Vodka.It was outstanding, lots of chilli drizzled on top and even more parmazan cheese.Yum yum.The service was lovely and genuineThe manager was very helpful with a special allergy request.All in all a lovely tasty experience!Hold on too your lug nuts! well be back regularly.
I had the spaghetti marinara in a tomato sauce. The sauce clung to the pasta.The flavour was amazing. It was a very generous portion. My mother had the pork belly.She also loved her meal. We both struggled to finish our dishes as there was a lot on the plates. The decor could do with a refresh, but the food is what I am aways interested in. Reasonable prices as well.
