Southside Bistro

Hadn't really planned anything for valentines but I was lucky enough to get a seat. We had the meatball which were really good and tasty! We also tried their sweet potato chips which were average. The ramen burger was what caught our eye at first, we were expecting the filling to taste like ramen but what came out was totally unexpected some satay seasoned pork, with bak choy as the salad and some pickles all on a noodle fried bun. Very unique! The coffee was great, though ordered a FW got a latte instead but was good still. We also ordered some dessert the banana chocolate french toast, we didn't have enough time to eat in house so had it take away to catch our movie in time, that didn't do it any favours! Overall though nice little place, would go again.

Have dined at this restaurant many times, the food is always excellent, the service is great and the staff very friendly. The prices are so reasonable also.Being Coeliac and lactose intolerant I am very confident the meal I eat at this restaurant will be prepared to suit my needs. The chief takes extreme care in preparing meals to suit various intolerances and takes it seriously as he understands the needs people have to eat a suitable meal.I will be returning at the first opportunity with various friends. Congratulations to the Chief and Staff for all your efforts.

We have been to Southside Bistro a few times in the past and they were very good each time. This time was no exception. It had been quite some time since we have been back so to see they have changed the menu was exciting. We were promptly shown to our table and served efficiently. Dinner was absolutely delicious and everyone was looking at each other’s food from different tables. Plated nicely with taste and good portion size is the best dining experience – not to mention they aren’t too overly expensive. I’ll be back and I highly recommend.

Fantastic place that I fully recommend. The menu is so classy it seems out of place but I won't complain. The specials are 5 or 6 star quality but not priced so. Service was very good and very friendly.The coffee is good, the desserts are really good and the meals are good and unique.Going back next week.Make a reservation as it gets busy and has only small seating area.

Nice fusion restaurant. Reasonable drinks menu. Good mix of food and good service today. Bao Burgers are nice. Quite busy!
