Friends recommended I try this as I like Indian food so I did. Its across from Waterloo Street on Pittwater Road so parking can be a problem. There is usually free 3-hour parking at the Tramshed (Berry Reserve) parking lot which has a handy traffic light so you can turn south with patience. You can also park in Waterloo street or further away on the Narrabeen side streets. Its mostly a takeaway restaurant but there is seating for 16 with extra chairs if needed. The service is fast, as in 10 minutes order to on the table. I had beef vindaloo which I nearly always order to judge a new restaurant. They did not ask me how hot I wanted the sauce. It was spicy, probably "English hot" but not as hot as you can order in some other places. They serve pappadums and ice water and the main meal includes rice. So its a trifle more expensive than elsewhere but not when you count the rice. The whole meal with tip came to $20. There were no condiments or sauce for the pappadums so its a very basic meal. However, I liked the taste. They offer a South Indian Breakfast from 9-2 on weekends and they also hold cooking classes and organise tours to India so its more than just a takeaway restaurant.
