Ulrich is a good place for a quick break, I've been there at least one time per week during the last 3 years and spent funny moments with my friends and colleagues in the sunny terrace which gives on the Steinertor. I mainly went there...for drinking a coffee or a drink and the waiters were always nice : Only thing are the prices, a little bit high, but still only good experiences.
Today, despite me, the head waiter insulted me a frequent customer and was very insulting. I was there with friends and we were all shocked at this behavior. Unfortunately, the service is always unfriendly and bad, the only good thing for it is... its location. I am absolutely shocked!!! Sad, I will not return as a customer, as this behavior is unacceptable!
One of the worst experiences with staff in Austria. We are right now here and both of the waiters do not seem interested in any of the customers except the two pretty tourist girls : Service is slow and we are afraid of ordering new...drinks because our existence seems to be an inconvenience for them. Ice cream melted already before it was served.
Popular with students. Range of cheap eats but nothing very substantial. General old messy -character. Went to 3 eggs with bacon. Not particularly good value considering the limited food presented. Situated just outside of one of the historical town entrance archways.
