A great place to pregame or post-game after a Yankees home game. Just a few blocks from Yankee Stadium in the South Bronx. A lot of fun and a great vibe and fun crowd, very friendly crowd. Bartenders are fast, but NOT VERY FRIENDLY. They are justslinging drinks as fast as possible with no smiles or thank yous. In short, don 't expect friendly service. It 's a beer and shotkind of joint.
A classic and iconic stop next to Yankee Stadium. Standing room only and bartenders that hustle to keep your thirst quenched! With the playoffs here there will be added excitement. While clearly a Yankee fan bar, if you're from a visiting team, noworries. Fans and management are classy. However don't start something, because the Bronx will end it.
Excellent atmosphere, really gets you pumped before going to the game. Downside is it is incredibly expensive. $9 for a 12oz bottle of Coors Light, one of the highest I've seen in NYC for a 12oz domestic beer. It's actually cheaper per ounce at thestadium $14 for a 24oz can)
