I googled Starbucks and saw the Elk River location was open on Christmas. I live in Otsego and drove 15 min there. Put a mobile order in at 12:25 when I got to the parking lot and waited in my car. At 12:45- I attempted to walk in and the doors were locked so I called. A girl named Jordan answered and said they were way too busy and that I should call Starbucks customer service and get a refund. Although I understand they are backed up- I put an order in while they were still accepting orders. Instead I wasted 1 whole hour between driving and waiting for a coffee I didn’t get and paid for. I feel the situation could have been handled differently. I would have been a lot less upset if she told me to wait in the drive thru instead of wasting all that time and driving away with nothing.
For a coffee shop it’s very cold and uncomfortable.. coffee shops are suppose to cozy warm (especially when it’s -10) outside.. there heat is set to 67 degrees as if they need to save the $900 million profit they accumulated over in un-spent balances on there gift cards/reward program.. person next to me has a blanket on ?? Common now
This location cannot make my drink correctly if their life depending on it. If you tell them your drink doesn 't taste how it normally should, all they 'll say is we make it the same every time . Every time I get my order, it tastes different. Every. Single. Time.
I was coming from dropping my father off at the airport very early at 5:30 AM. This very sweet girl named Katie took my order and we had a very lovely conversation. It truly made my day so much better best Starbucks ever.
