Staying in Alsace for the first time we wanted to try out the local fare. We chanced this one and luckily we had our son with us who speaks German as we do not speak French well or German at all. Not a lot of people in this area speak English! The place is not fancy but it is clean and the people are very nice indeed. The food was excellent. I took the challenge of being surprised by the Thom Baguette which was interesting and very tasty. Our son had a dish of duck, smoked salmon and pate which looked like fine dining of the highest order. My wife's dish of chicken and veal in a creamy sauce contained in a pastry 'crown' also was well enjoyed. Well satisfied!

I took the challenge to be surprised by the thom baguette, which was interesting and very tasty. our son had a dish of detested, smoked salmon and pate, which looked like fine eating the highest order. my wife's dish of huh and calf in a creamy sauce in a baked 'cron ' also was well enjoyed. good satisfaction!

we were warmly welcomed. beautiful menu. beautiful dishes, served on a pleasant wise, so the eye also enjoyed it.
