Stiftskeller Mattsee & Catering

Ich traf dort meine Freunde zu einem Wiedersehen und der Hochzeit eines gemeinsamen Freundes. Das Essen war großartig und auch für Vegetarier geeignet. Wir haben auch das Bier und den Wein sowie das Ambiente genossen. Der Raucherbereich ist vom Nichtraucherbereich getrennt, was eine Erleichterung war, da die meisten von uns Nichtraucher waren. Es gibt auch einen schönen Außenbereich und das Personal war sehr nett.

We moved to Mattsee a year ago and love this place! It's our favourite restaurant for kilometers! The food has always been good, we get a great welcome from the staff even if they are super busy. The burgers are to die for and the rest of the menu which is diverse is great too with seasonal changes and specials.

We did a trip to Mattsee and had our lunch in this lovely Restaurant close to the lake. As an old Monastery it has a wonderful atmosphere Staff is very friendly. And we were surprised: they did perfect burgers! As Dessert a typical austrian "Apfelstrudel" with cream..... much recommended.

Staff is very friendly in this quaint town. The fried chicken with pumpkin seed was the best I've had anywhere and we love food. My wife enjoyed it too!

Our family came to Stiftskeller for lunch to celebrate our Father's birthday. The place is cozy and nice. The food is good but nothing special.
