After seeing an interesting sign that said "hand-made food", we wandered in and...not only was it home-made but it was made with lots of love from the team of Subito. The deli selections were simply amazingly fresh, simple and healthy. We ordered the plat du jour of fresh salmon, cous cous and a nice rocket salad as well as a side of excellent octupus. The place was tiny but had an awesome atmosphere and selection. Highly recommend this place as it was loaded with locals and we are only sorry that we came too late and a local got the last piece of lemon meringue pie instead of us!!
We left the Palace of the Popes at an awkward time--too late for lunch, too early for dinner, but then we found this tiny cafe. What great luck! It has 3 tables and the nicest family running it. The coffee, meal of the day, and all their lunch items were fresh and scrumptious! The menu is written on the board. We each ordered something different, and loved them all! Their desserts were also very tempting!
Well, it's the third time i visit the place...it's a small but delicious.Every day you will find and eat their special "plat du jour",It's not easy to find a place to seat unless you serve a place in advance, anyway you can always buy and take it away...Very much recomended.P.s, use the W.C before you arrive (they don't have any in place)...
On the recommendation from our hosts at our B and B, we went to this Italian bistro near the Palais du Papes for lunch. Each of us had a pasta dish, which was hearty and good and a nice salad. As others have said on this site, the food is simple and good and very reasonable. Just a small place and not suitable for a dinner out. Service good.
