We've been here for years. We'll never be back. I don't know what happened to this place. Our first drink lasted more than 30 minutes, that was just the beginning. The drink was terrible. They left a steak from our order on the table and left. No utensils, no other meals, no pages, nothing on the steak. Just a steak, in the middle of the table. We're gonna tell one of the floor managers, he's joking and went away. Worst 'Steakhouse' dinner of my life. Oysters: so badly fucked they were full of shells and no oysters. Beef Wellington bites DONT! Steak: Incredibly salted, we had to cut off the entire crust of the steak to eat it. The au gratin potatoes are just over domestic frits with bad cheese. Bad service, bad drinks, bad food. Don't do it, total vibe killer.
My husband and I stopped going to Sullivan’s a couple of years ago because of the poor quality of the steaks. We decided to try them again the other night. The steaks were great! The service was not. We also ordered a baked potato with our entree. It was so overcooked, it was dried out. Our server didn’t come back to check on us and the potato sat on the table the entire dinner uneaten. When we arrived at 5:30 there were two other tables that were occupied we didn’t leave until 7:45 and they were long gone. We waited quite awhile between courses and our server was no where to be seen.
There was another special occasion going on that crowded the bar area and took priority, but we were well cared for. Had to wait some for service. Waitress was very busy. The 50$ filet mignon special was superb. Best in the valley. Would be a five star all around except for picking an extremely busy night. Staff were all doing their very best.
Steak overcooked several toppings missing sauces forgotten oysters so small almost couldn't find them. Very long wait between courses. Would not recommend.
