A Thai restaurant in Arlington is in Yelp’s Top 100 restaurants. I had to check it out. Thai is my favorite ethnic cuisine. I used to live in Arlington but at no time heard of Sunny Thai. There are several Thai restaurants in Arlington which I would recommend.My wife and I had a history of indulging in Thai food. We were in the habit of spending a fortune on it in a place in Fort Worth. This place shut down when the owner retired to Thailand. But she taught us a lot about Thai food.We assess a new Thai restaurant with our favorite dishes. My wife loves Pad Kee Mao. It’s also called Drunken Noodles. My favorite is Panang Curry. We both love Tom Yum soup to start. For dessert, we love Mango with Sticky Rice.Wow! Everything was full of flavor. And the service was fast. No wonder it was in the top one hundred. We couldn’t believe we didn't try Sunny Thai before. Especially since at our former house, the drive was only six minutes! We now live further in Mansfield. But we’re coming back.
Great delicious food. I highly recommend it. We were a group of 8 that ate their. The foods arrived quickly and were on point in terms of flavor and presentation. I ate the Pad ki Mow with seafood. I should have taken a photo! I ordered the green papaya salad Thai style. Heat out of 5. It lived up to the heat! Probably should’ve ordered only a two star, never the last of the flavor was amazing, the vegetables refresh, and the presentation was lovely. I would definitely order again and look forward to eating here again and trying another menu item when I am in the area! I decided to eat in rather than to-go. Service was nice and timing was good.
their curry puffs, dumplings, and vegetarian rolls are great. we love the variety of the menu for vegetarian family members. crab Rangoon was disappointing as they were barely filled, only 4 and over $10
