There are several Swiss Chalet Restaurants in the area. This location is closest to us so the one most frequently visited. It is very clean & well maintained & has undergone several updates & redecorating over the past few years. The staff is very friendly & efficient for the most part. The menu is mostly chicken or ribs but has a variety of foods on the children's menu. Their garden salad & house dressing is always good along with others appetizers to suit different tastes. I must say that we have been going to Swiss Chalets for many years in many different locations & cities, although the food is very consistent in quality the chicken portions seem to be getting smaller. They have counteracted this by increasing the quantity of French fries to fill up the large plate. If you pay the premium to select white meat then the portion is a bit bigger than the leg/thigh dark meat. The double leg is a better value for a few dollars more. We advise people to take advantage of the special coupons when available & CAA Members always get Two Can Dine for $15.99 when the $14.99 special is not available. You will need your CAA Membership Card to take advantage of the $15.99 special. The kids menu is quite good & ironically the chicken leg item is the same size leg as adults & would suit most seniors if made available to them as well. Children's menu is available for 12 & under but if you have a light eating teen then advise the staff & in most cases they will allow an older teen the children's menu.
Ein Chateaubriand wie wir es noch nie gegessen haben. Das Fleisch war butterzart und zerging auf der Zunge. Leider haben wir den Hauptgang vergessen zu fotografieren. Die Vorspeisen, Nüssli- Salat und Kürbissuppe war ebenfalls ausgezeichnet! Zum Dessert ist das Schoggi Küchlein absolut zu empfehlen. Einzig die etwas längeren Wartezeiten sind zu bemängeln. Wenn man sich jedoch etwas zu erzälen hat, ist das auch halb so tragisch!Immer gerne wieder! P. S. Die Preise sind etwas hoch, jedoch jeden Franken wert!
Very delicious Swiss food and excellent service. The veal cordon bleu was excellent, the Zurich style sliced veal was ok but the rosti was so tasty! For dessert I had a meraingue ice-cream that was so fresh and good.
j'ai pu mangé à deux reprises lors d'un déplacement professionnel dans ce restaurant qui propose des spécialités de la région avec une carte très simple...le service est rapide et le personnel est agréable.
