We went on a Thursday evening around 6 pm for apps to share.....The atmosphere was good and the place seemed to be busy. We ordered Muscles, flatbread, and Fish tacos.... The flatbread tasted like a frozen pizza with no taste, and chewy. The fish tacos were so small I couldn't find the fish ?? and for the price, we only received 2 small tacos. The kicker was the muscles .... 10/10 for presentation, however, 1/2 of the shells in the order were closed... We complained and the manager apologized, comped the order and replaced the closed shells portion with another 1/2 order..... Once again 1/2 of the shells in the 2nd order were also closed... This is the first bad experience we have had at symposium, and in no hurry to return.
Dinner was so so. It's just OK. The thing that I didn't notice until I got home that really pissed me off was the $1.45 for my "Extra" Feta cheese on my salad. It was this teeny cup! The waitress never even SAID there was a charge for it when I asked for it!!! No heads up..... $1.45??????? That was the last straw for me ...we won't be back! What a rip off! For that price we could have went somewhere better!
We have tried this place so many times, and I will keep trying it - I want to like it. Great patio, convenient location but I have never been pleased with my experience. I've tried many different menu options and never feel satisfied with the quality for the price. I live having local food and drink options so I will not give up - I will try again!
Stopped for a bite and ordered a salad of which the waitress loved. The food preparation guy knew she didn't like jalapenos and unknown to her had removed them. However her not knowing this brought me food and had not a clue why my tongue was burning. The situation was quickly rectofied and i now have memories of this fine establishment.
