Visited this restaurant (if I have to call it that) during the weekend. Regretted the decision immediately No one attended for the next minutes despite several requests. Had to ultimately help ourselves.... Apparently, it is a one man show and could not even handle...the measly number of customers present. A poor lady kept requesting for a coffee and had to come twice to the manager as she never received the same Filthy tables, plates were sticky and not washed properly, the buffet area was a mess (food spilled all over) with of the dishes empty (and they remained so the entire time Save your self the time, effort and money and choose better dining options in the city.
We came there as a group of people, not all of them speaking German. There are no English menus, so we had to translate for them. That ain't so bad but when we wanted to order we were told we can't order anything from...the menu but only the buffet is available. Why we then even got the menu to choose from remains a mystery to me. The food itself then was very mediocre, was just kept warm, some of it were unidentifiable mashes and the service was quite slow. All in all it didn't strike me as a place I ever want to go back to.
One of the worst Indian restaurants I have had the misfortune to eat at. The food was very salty and quite unspiced. The only good thing was the cobra beer. The coffee was awful too. The loud music was excruciating but it might have been...better if a little quieter. The gents toilet was none too inviting either! The gent doing the serving was pleasant enough and there was a certain amount of authenticity in some of the furnishings.
The restaurant is located close to the Hauptplatz and serves delicious Indian food. They have a self-service, all you can eat dinner buffet with a wide variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes for dinner.
