Summary: There must be better Thai food here. I'll keep looking. I just moved to Fair Oaks and live near Takieng, so I was hoping it would be good. I was there twice? once solo and once with friends? but I don't think I'm going back. It is not almost as good as its current 4.4 review would suggest. On both occasions, the agitated dishes had boiled meat (which was prepared for crisp chicken and gum-like shrimps) and undercooked, almost raw vegetables. The taste was just that. Not active bad, really, but also not good. Just Bland. It was nowhere near the taste I used from the Thai restaurants near my old house. The dishes were edible, but not really pleasant. Her spiciness levels were also strange. Your medium is what I would call rather hot, but not too bad. A friend who grew up on spicy Chinese food ordered her dish Spicy and it was too hot for her too. You said Spicy is the middle of her assortment, that goes Mild, Medium, Spicy, Extra Spicy, Thai Spicy, so I wouldn't expect it to be too hot for someone who spicy Szechuan eat their whole life. As we pointed out, our server did not offer that the cook again at a more reasonable level of spice.. She didn't even apologize. She just laughed. So I have to say the service wasn't so great either. So: mediocre food, crazy spice levels and mediocre service. Three strikes and you're out!
This was our first time to eat here. I went out with my boy. It was our night when he wanted Thai food. We were greeted with many smiling faces and very friendly staff. We sat right away. They had a very large staff. And most of them had masks. Everything looked clean. Smeled beautiful We got a lot of time to decide. No pressure. I asked what was popular and informed them, we liked everything in the menu. My son chose the fish plate. I have Pad Thai and we shared a larvae. The rice was a nice side to cut the acid in it. Everything was great. Very good atmosphere and people. Will DEFINITELY go back. I want to get what he has. The fish was amazing and very large portions. The iced tea was delicious
Wife and I had a great experience here today. The place was amazing. We admired all the detailed wood artwork that were displayed while waiting for our food. Our order came out exactly what we ordered and it was very delicious. We got the extra spicy red curry and Some kind of noodle dish. The environment is very clean and organized, so were the restroom. Will definately come back and recommend to our foodie friends.
Best Thai food in Fair Oaks! Even my demanding friends who visited Asia like this place. They make a very fleeting take-out business, but the small dining area has a charming, even romantic, ambience. Love, love, love her curries!
