Lo descubrimos por casualidad. Acabábamos de hacer un viaje de 12 horas agotador para llegar a Cambados y por supuesto no conocíamos nada del entorno. España se disputaba su puesto en cuartos de final para la Copa del Mundo y simplemente buscábamos un sitio donde tomar unas cervezas y poder ver el partido.Tenía un terrible dolor de cabeza por el ajetreo del día así que entramos en el primer sitio que vimos sin divagar demasiado.Por fuera simplemente parecía un bar pequeño con algunas mesas a modo de terraza para tomar algo en el centro de la ciudad.Pero al entrar: Menuda sorpresa. Se dividía en dos espacios bien diferenciados: El primero y más cercano a la barra un lugar acogedor donde poder elegir algo de intimidad entrando a la izda una única mesa de gran tamaño para poder conversar apartados del resto de clientes) o mesas dispuestas en hilera paralelas a un banco de madera adosado en la pared y cómodas sillas rodeando las mesas; más hacia el fondo del local una zona más amplia dedicada para grupos de amigos con mayor número de mesas y sillas todo decorado con muy buen gusto: Paredes en tonos verdes suaves con detalles en negro, lámparas de luz clara atenuada por largos flecos negros y....Una gran pantalla de TV que al fin y al cabo era lo que necesitábamos para la ocasión, claro. Lo que enseguida nos llamó la atención fue la amabilidad y hospitalidad del dueño.Aquella noche pedimos lo que creíamos que iban a ser unas tapas o sea raciones de poca cantidad sólo para saciar el apetito, pero no conocíamos aún la gastronomía gallega ni sus costumbres así que nos encontramos con dos platos llenos hasta la bandera, todo casero y elaborado con productos de muy buena calidad. Mi dolor de cabeza desapareció antes del Gol de España y ya no pudimos faltar a nuestra cita con el amigo fiel así lo llamamos) las siguientes noches. Los días sucesivos nos dejamos aconsejar y siempre acertamos.Y como el dueño del local Jose, creo que se llama así, tiene tan buena memoria... Recordaba lo que habíamos comido cada día y nos daba a probar siempre algo diferente. De Fiel aparte de taperia es una bonita cafetería de diseño, nueva, moderna y con predominio del color verde combinado con el negro, y unas originales lámparas. Está muy bien situada en pleno corazón de la localidad de Cambados, a pocos metros del Concello y del Parador. Si vamos de tapas, tenemos ricos montaditos, embutidos, quesos, patés. Algo más especial los mariscos , revueltos de la casa, ensaladas. Lo importante, como no podía ser, también son los precios, muy buena relación calidad-precio.
