Second time we've gone here. Second time being disappointed. No online ordering because the website they link is broken. It took 3 phone calls to finally reach someone. Ended up being placed on hold and talked to 3 different people before I could place an order. The final price (excluding tax) was 25+ more than what both of their online menus listed. The food itself left a lot to be desired. The chicken combo plate didn't come with salsa or a salad, as stated on the menu. It was quite literally chicken. Just chopped chicken breast that was overcooked until it was dry as the desert. And a side of rice and beans, with 2 tortillas. If it weren't for the beans, it would have been inedibly dry. The beef tacos were ground beef, again somehow absolutely incinerated and overcooked. It was some of the most chewy and tough ground beef ive ever had. I genuinely have never had tough ground beef, but somehow they managed it. The tacos had a little bit of cilantro and a few pieces of diced onion mixed in the beef. That's it. I see all these amazing looking meals in the pictures on here and it honestly feels like the polar opposite of our experiences here.
This is a solid mexican restaurant. A good variety of menu items, all good from my sampling. They also sell meat by the pound and have a grocery section. I wish this place was in my neighbourhood!
This restaurant has really good food. Their food actually has flavor. And it is very well portioned.
