Terraza Taoro - Tisch reservieren

High expectations but finally huge disappointment. Lack of staff meant waiting over one and a half hour to get our dinner which was not good even being hungry as we were after 90 minutes looking the very nice views of the town with just a bottle of water. Very poor customer service and food, just an expensive exercise of patience. A piece of advice: look for any other place to enjoy your meal, there are plenty in Puerto de la Cruz, and then go for a walk around Taoro Gardens both to see the sunset and take some pictures. This way would work a lot better if you wish to make the most of your holiday and avoid this kind of experience.

Booked this for my birthday as it was close to the hotel with a nice view at sunset. I’d seen somewhere online that it had closed permanently so relieved to find that’s fake news! Very modest place for a celebration but the food was reasonable. Waiters spoke very little English and my Spanish is very limited, so we struggled to communicate but there aren’t many UK visitors round here so it’s really our problem rather than theirs.

A small cafe located at the highest point of a small picturesque park, Parque Taoro. The view from one of the tables is exceptional. We drank some beers and juices here, around 16:00, in an infernal heat. It was not crowded at all, there were only about 4 other customers, but I think that in the evening, when is cooler, it is very crowded. The staff is kind, you can pay by card.

We booked a place from this site, they were waiting for us and take care to find us a table with a great view to the town and ocean. The food was delicious and we had a great dinner there.

Vistas muy privilegiadas, buen trato, lugar de ambiente relajado. Yo fui a merendar y relajarme.
