Terre Gourmande

We ate here yesterday and had a table inside the shop. I was a bit dubious about the idea and thought it would be very basic, but we had an excellent lunch that was very good value. We had the menu du jour for which comprised a side salad/starter plus delicious fish "lieu noir" (No idea what that equates to in English) which was served with mash and leeks, all very well seasoned. There was also an option of duck. This was served on a slate together also with a generous portion of cheese and bread. The menu price also included a glass of wine each plus coffee. Desserts were extra, but inexpensive. There were other things offered on slightly more expensive menus and we think that we saw people choosing meat from the shop which was then cooked for them. We will definitely be back

First time visit , stumbled across it as we drove past. Waitress moved a table for us so we could sit outside under the covered terrace. I chose the mushroom omelette because I had a tooth problem. Husband had goats cheese salad. Everything cooked very...nicely, nice home made looking chips. Only comment would be that would have preferred slightly bigger piece of goats cheese. Very nice house wine which we bought a box of in the shop. Lovely selection of produce available to buy

My daughter and I stopped here driving back from a river walk. Food is served after which is unusual and always a rare find. We sat in the shade outside, service was friendly and quick. The confit de canard was excellent, served with salad...and chips I had a vegetarian main course which was excellent! We will definitely recommend and return

My wife and I have been more than once and we can both honestly say that the food, service and price of the set lunch menu is astoundingly good value. Easy to locate just off the main road. Seating inside and out. Smart and modern...and attached to an excellent local produce shop. Clean and tidy. Worth a visit. You will not be disappointed

Does not have to be booked and if not you may well be eating inside the shop. A bit off putting having your dinner while punters brose the isles. Food was standard but good. as with most restaurants in France, no food between
