Tertulia - Tisch reservieren

Finding a menú del día when one of you is vegetarian is rather a challenge! While some places will make minor changes, the results tend towards the unexciting ... Not so at Tertulia, where we ended up with an excellent (and beautifully presented) Mixed Salad with asparagus substituting for Tuna, and scrambled eggs with vegetables (and, we guess, some Riojan tomato sauce). The Riojan potatoes (starter) and Riojan cod were both excellent, too. Combined with a good helping of a good non DOC wine from Laguardia, and the usual water, bread, and desert gave us a really exceptional 13€ menu. The person serving who, I guess, was the proprietor, spoke excellent English, too.

We, three couple, discovered Tertulia while looking for a place to eat. The owner/chef said it was too early for dinner but he would fix us up with some food. He brought out four delicious platters: Mussels in spicy red sauce (not too spicy, just right), Mushrooms, Jambon (ham), and delicious logostinos (large shrimp) plus he suggested a delicious red wine. We sat at a table on the street to watch the towns people go about their business, chasing kids, leaving nearby church. Sitting and friendly arguing at tables at nearby taberna. It was overall a wonderful discovery.

We ate here two nights running. Service was very good, food really nice. Both times I had the goats cheese salad which was appetisingly presented. My husband had the cod riojan the first night and a different fish the second night.He enjoyed both.

Fantastic food and wine. The waiter was really nice, I had some requests as I'm vegetarian and vegetarian version of a dish was made with no problem. Wine excellent and prices very attractive.

Tomatoes from their own garden and a great Secreto Ibérico made this a very nice lunch. Excellent service!!!
