The Anaheim White House

I Was very excited to try this restaurant after so many years of not having time to. Valet, hosts and server were very nice and hospitable. The food however was not worth half of what was charged. The prawns dish my wife ordered were bland and needed salt and some sort of sauce to pull it together. I ordered the Osso bucco after the chef said he would not make a bearnaise sauce for the T-bone I originally wanted. The polenta was super watery and runny with little flavor and the veal shank was well over braised. Very tender to the fork but extremely dry and inedible. The side of Brussels was a travesty! Paying that much for an over cooked boiled bowl of Brussels is ridiculous. They were soggy and had zero flavor. We pre-ordered the soufflé for dessert and it was just okay. I know they are made with folded in egg whites but this thing was probably so massive because of the excess in egg whites. Very egg forward and not ideal for dessert unless you have to drench it in the sauces given on the side. The sauces helped a little but not much. The cocktails were very delicious… I had an old fashioned and my wife had a dirty martini. I would say that both old fashions I had were made my completely different bartenders or they just winged it because they were not consistent. I dunno. Not sure if we’ll be back. If so, not for the food. We might have a cocktail or two before heading to The Ranch down the road

Arrived out of town to enjoy dinner with fiancé and daughter. Ambiance was decorative and was pleasantly surprised. We were all looking forward to a very nice dinner, but unfortunately as we were seated the wait staff kept standing over us rushing us to make decisions on drinks dinner and dessert. We were reminded by two different waiters numerous times that the cook and bartender were getting annoyed by us tying them up because they all wanted to go home. Our reservations were at while trying to eat our steaks tables were being put up an the two waiters were forcing us to make dessert to go decisions also our coffee I was told would be out in plastic cups while we were eating our steaks and were so much in a hurry for us to leave that my fiancé received two checks one after the bills was paid. My advice don’t take reservations if the patrons won’t be treated the same as the patrons. Food was decent, ambiance was pretty, staff was unprofessional and rude. Would not recommend

Elegant beautiful atmosphere. I had the cheese ravioli and my husband had salmon entrees. Everything was delicious
