Wow! I had heard good things but this place really met and exceeded my expectations. If you are a discerning person who has high standards for cocktails this place is for you! The Spec on the Mai Tai is incredibly impressive with an amazing rum blend. After an excellent dinner we headed up to Bernard’s tiki room and to me it’s now my favorite tiki bar in the Denver metro. The dedication to doing the drinks right is immediately clear with a spindle mixer and beautiful glassware and mugs on display. If you’re a tiki fan living in Denver this spot is by far the greatest hidden gem. Take an Uber over from Thursday-Saturday because this place is not something to miss. Thanks to Tristan who did an amazing job bartending for me and my wife and really made our night! First things first... Thank you, yelp, for helping finding this gem! This place was established in 1933, and has a really wonderful ambience and vibe. Outstanding cocktails, I mean really really good. Three of us enjoyed the chicken schnitzel, steak salad, and salmon in posole sauce. Three happy diners, three smiling faces, three clean plates. For dessert, we shared the banana pudding and some housemaid donuts. Get the donuts. Repeat: get the donuts. The banana pudding was good, but would have been better with some sliced bananas included. Our server was charming, knowledgeable, and professional. This is our first time in Arvada, but now it's looking like we will be back once a year for the Jazz Guitar festival. This will absolutely be included on every visit from here on. In my opinion, it's the best food and cocktails we've had in Arvada. Hope you enjoy!
There is a nice tavern, elevated compare with the others in town. We expected a me ir accordingly but was a deception. Menus is nothing special, the only that we can highlight are the appetizers (artichoke dip). Waitress was very attentive. There is a good list of signature cocktails. Recommendation, go for a drink and appetizer. Doesn’t worth have dinner there. Amanda (the GM and her team at Arvada Tavern were amazing working with me for a group event (17 people on a Monday night with just a week of warning. Dre, our server was AMAZING at keeping track of our group, and was attentive and accommodating. The cocktails and environment were fantastic and we had a GREAT time.
