First time trying this cafe. Won't be back. When I asked what could be vegan she said the porridge ... I can eat that at home! I asked if they could do something with the smashed pumpkin and after speaking to (who I assume is the owner) she told me it would just be pumpkin and seeds! ArghhhhFrustratingWhen I said to the the person behind the counter it would be nice to have a vegan dish that person just shrugged and smiled.Established in 2016... get with the times !!! 1 star for the decent coffee that we changed to take away.
I love the idea of the backyard these guys offer, great for parents with little ones. The coffee was fine, and the beetroot juice and coconut smoothie were both excellent (especially the coconut!). Our food recommendations are the smashed pumpkin dish, and the pulled pork with apple - both breakfast dishes, and spot on.My partner tried the scrambled egg roti, and this was a bit disappointing, needed more flavour.I found the place a bit noisy and lacking that special atmosphere. Could be better.
Coffee great and the food is always good. Service great and very friendly. I like to come here for brekkie and to read/work and the environment is perfect! Except when the place becomes over run with active wear mums and toddlers!!!! Thank goodness the backyard area is now up and running so they invariably go outside and leave the rest of us to enjoy the food and ambience in peace!
Attended here with family and friends for a quick eat out of the way. Food was good and staff friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is similar to other cafes in the area with seating inside and outside. Would go back in similar circumstances.
