I visited 9/17/23 to celebrate my friend's birthday. Our server, Chris, was amazing from start to finish he anticipated our needs, answered our questions, and was friendly. His impeccable service reminds me of the service received at Waldorf Astoria Hotels. I run my own business, and I understand the energy and patience that's given to customers, and oftentimes, you don't receive that when you are receiving service! Chris really made my day because he was kind and attentive to our group. Be sure to ask for him upon making your reservation. Let's get to the food, we ordered the cauliflower appetizer, and it was yummy! Next, I ordered the shrimp, andouille, and grits with a side of hashrowns; everything was cooked perfectly! I only wish more grits were added to my bowl. I'm a grits snob, and those grits were so creamy!! The sauce was soooooo good! Lastly, I had a moonshine cocktail. It was my 1st time tasting moonshine, and I was blown away by the apple flavor and how smooth it tasted going down my throat. I said all of this to say I'm coming back for dinner and dessert. Please give Chris a raise!!
We came for brunch on a Sunday, and the place was packed! There was plenty of outside sitting but we prefer to sit inside so the wait was about half an hour, which was not a problem since there is a Homegoods and a Tjmaxx in the same lot so we spent our time browsing, and we had a table before we knew it. The firecracker shrimp were delicious , the chicken and waffles were moist and tender, and the French toast was ok . The po' boy was fresh and super stuffed! The forbidden fruit cocktail was apple pie in a glass, delicious! Overall, it was good food ,good service, and an ok experience, although if you have sensory issues or just don't like too much noise, maybe sit outside because it did get quite noisy. Went to have brunch in a Sunday and it was perfect! I love the decor and look of the restaurant. They have a barrels decorated through the restaurant and it gives it a rustic look. It's definitely a vibe, they play music and it's something for everybody. We had reservations and didn't wait too long to be seated. Our server was Ken and he is theeeee best! He has a personality like no other. He's very helpful with the menus and make sure you have everything you need! Their food is bomb! I got the French Toast, fried chicken, and a skillet when Turkey sausage. Honey....let me tell you! It was all so so delish! Everything on their menu is good! I also got a flight of drinks! You definitely want to make sure you make your way to Barrel Club. You can go solo and sit at the bar, go on a date, or go with your girls for a Sunday Funday brunch!
Friends and I went on Sunday for a birthday dinner. The place was nice. We had a reservation and we're seated quickly. Our waiter was attentive and quickly brought out water and menus. Fried green tomatoes are delicious. We all had different dishes and they were all quite tasty. Will definitely be back soon.
